The Author
My name is Chris Saunders, and I love wine. I created this blog so I could share the knowledge I have gained (and continue to gain!) as well as my passion for wine. I write tasting notes and info about wine I hope my readers find entertaining and informative.
I am focused on the wines available to folks here in Ontario, Canada – we have limited options, but it is a confusing space. I want to share my experiences with the wines I find at my local store and help provide folks in Ontario with the knowledge they need to confidently make wine selections at their local shop!
Thank you for stopping in, grab a glass and your favourite bottle and let’s talk wine.

I find that wine makes my tummy feel kinda funny. Do you think I should stop drinking the part bottles I find on recycling day? Just joking. Nice blog (I am getting a little concerned about your liver function with all the alcohol you have been consuming)

While I try to put up an entry every day, it doesn’t necessarily mean I’ve consumed the wine that day. I have tasting notes stretching back to last year. I check to make sure the wine is still available at the LCBO, and then post the tasting notes.

welcome to blogging! love the LCBO perspective. my in-laws live in Toronto and this should be very helpful for them.

thanks Jill – I post 5d a week, usually TNs from bottles that are currently available at the LCBO. Of course YMMV (your mileage may vary) depending on which LCBO your in-laws are closest to, but in Toronto generally the Yonge-Summerhill LCBO or the Queen’s Quay LCBO are STOCKED.

Yeah VQA! its about time we had more individual and “next gen” writers getting wise to their wine culture and promoting our backyard product!
Heres to like-minded folk!
